We are delighted to bring you these live recordings made at concerts given by the Stuart Singers in Holy Trinity Church, Minchinhampton, Gloucester shire between 2003 and 2006. We perform about ten concerts a year and enjoy blending a wide range of popular secular and sacred music with established choral favourites, producing programmes of great variety. Our audiences appreciate the variety, which is also reflected in this CD's programme.

One of the 19 numbers recorded here deserves a special mention. It has become by far and away the most popular item we have performed in recent years. The Bottle Lament is unique not only because it is only sung by the Stuart Singers, but also because it was arranged by our own accompanist, the ever versatile Barrie Cooper LRSM
